The moana has always been the place I gravitate to, being on the Pou Rāhui project in Te Pou Moana has allowed me to develop my connection to the moana and te taiao. Being fortunate enough to learn from esteemed pillars of academia and mātauranga, I have been so grateful for Pou Rāhui and the opportunities I have been given to understand more about Te Ao Māori and te taiao.
