Anne-Marie Jackson is a Te Teretere Pūmahara member and provides expert advice to the project. Ann-Marie has a research platform, Te Koronga, which is focused on Māori research excellence that uplifts the hopes and aspirations of Māori communities in the context of Māori physical education and health. Her four distinct programmes of research are Māori physical education and health, Tangaroa/marine, waka/water safety, and indigenous science.
